Laura Guest began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2008 through a club sport in college, where she gained her first year and a half of training before graduating in 2009. After eventually landing in Burlington, she picked her BJJ training back up at United Fighting Arts Institute in 2013, where she has risen to the rank of Brown belt under Mike DesRosiers. Laura has competed in numerous BJJ competitions around the Northeast, and is currently an Assistant Instructor to Mike DesRosiers, teaching an instructional Beginner's Jiu-Jitsu class. Laura has also dabbled in Aiki Jujitsu and Muay Thai, both taught by Master Chris Ballard, during her time at UFAI.
