Robyn Stirling began his martial arts career in 2001 at a Shotokan Karate dojo in Burlington Vermont. One year later he began cross training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Since then he's trained in various other martial arts styles such as Filipino Arnis, Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, and Aiki Jujitsu.
Robyn rose to the rank of brown belt in Shotokan Karate and blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and in 2005 left Karate and took a part-time hiatus from martial arts to attend University. Robyn returned full-time to the martial arts scene in 2009 to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and joined the United Fighting Arts Institute in 2010. Robyn earned his brown belt from Mike DesRosiers in 2015 and has competed in both Mixed Martial Arts competitions and grappling competitions.
Robyn is currently an assistant instructor for Mike DesRosiers and teaches a children’s Jiu Jitsu class out of the United Fighting Arts Institute.
